SEDAC - Smart Energy Design Assistance Center - Businesses up to 500 employees are provided a FREE energy audit which includes a thorough inspection of the building’s construction, lighting, HVAC, etc. Benchmarks the building’s performance based on similar buildings/industry and provides recommendations for improvements with cost analysis.
LEAP - Large Customer Energy Analysis Program - Naperville Businesses with annual energy expenditures of $500,000 or more, such as manufacturers, hospitals, large commercial buildings, universities, and local governments qualify for this IL DCEO Program. LEAP takes a business approach to energy management and examines how energy is integrated with your business management systems, and provides assistance in developing an energy management plan. The plan identifies and prioritizes energy reduction measures and capital projects that provide the greatest return on investment. DCEO offers rebates of 50% up to a maximum of $10,000 for both the costs of developing an energy management plan and technical services.
